Ministries : Living Water Fil-Am Seventh-day Adventist Church Las Vegas NV

Living Water Fil-Am offers many ministries that serve its members and the community. We encourage everyone to use their skills and passions to find a ministry that fits their personality to get involved in your church community and strengthen your faith. Visitors and members are invited to participate.

Bible Study/Sabbath School:
Sabbath school classes are the heartbeat of our church community. Each week we spend time learning from Scripture and from each other.

Hospitality ministries are ministries that take care of the needs of the church itself. They offer a wide variety of opportunities for people, including greetings, ushering, organizing potlucks and following up with visitors.

Music ministries are those that use music to worship and preach. They include vocal and hand bell choirs, praise bands, and piano or organ playing for weekly services. Music ministries also organize special programs for churches, such as Christmas pageants. Most of these ministry opportunities are volunteer positions, and only require a love of music to participate.

The children in our church are not just the future--they are actively included in the ministries of the church today.

The pathfinder club is a worldwide organization of young people sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, though young people of any religious persuasion, or none at all, are welcome and encouraged to join the organization.

This ministry meets the immediate needs of the community through social services such as food and clothing distribution, emergency assistance, and disaster response. Through our Bread of Life program we seek to provide relief to the Las Vegas valley and surrounding areas. Every Friday between 1PM - 4PM and Saturday between 9AM and 2PM our doors are open for bread and pastries collection.
